I was wondering. This game I play detects multi accounts and puts them on ban automaticly. It does it by IP and host name.. If I used a good anonymizer would it cover my tracks enough to not be detcted... say I signed up with azrels lil gate, and used it every time i logged in, it wouldnt be able to know it was off my host because it would be bouncing through thier server right?Just a thought.

i have a very unique problem with my computer, i got a gateway(don't ask) and i knew i was going to setup a duel boot, so i went ahead and had them split my hard drive, 6/6. but being the geniuses they are, they made an extended dos partion, i need linux native, sound simple enough right, reformat, partiotn magic, well, for somer eason, there is something protecting my boot sector, partitoin magic can't write to it, therefore changes can't take effect, i looked through my bios settings and there is nothign about the boot sector in there. i have no clue what is preventing me from copying to boot sector, or how to fix it, i am left with 6 gigs of wasted space, fucking gateway couldn;t even tel me how to get my partiotn back together

I wanted to share a linux machine's modem with a windows box. On the linux machine, I have a perl script set up with inetd so anyone using linux on the LAN can 'telnet 192.168.0.4 6060' and access the modem (i.e., type AT commands, etc).Is there any way to write a wrapper-driver for Windows that makes this look like a COM port? Thanks in advance.
