problem in running a progarm
i was trying to run a spoffers which i downloaded from thelamer site but they needed vb.dll files so i got thiose files but then
the program gave a message that it needed winsck.ocx file . i downloaded that file and installed it in windows/system but even after that it is giving same message can't load or problem in registering winsck.ocx.
i have win98 second edition computer.

Hi, I have a problem in perl..
Is It Possible to convert strings eg "123456" to number 123456?? cause i need to compare number to do some sorting..
given in string format, eg "107" lt "88"
which is not the case in Int format.
it seems very easy but i can't find it in perlfaq.Thanks

I just downloaded a trial version of AVP platinum virus scanner. When I boot my system I get a blue screen titled Windows that says fatal exception 40 has occurred at 0028:cd81d779.I am running windows 98 & was using Mcafee (sucks). I am switching because I got nailed with the Chernobyl virus.I have disabled Mcafee on my system. Any idea why I am getting this error message ? I use to get it in the past when I ran AVP.
