	Forum Archive   These pages displays every post made to every forum...ever!   MAC to IP conversion MAC to IP conversion Hello again,I succeeded to get someones MAC-address who frequently messes up my message board.I would have kicked the guy off right away, but the problem is he's switching IP numbers all the time.Is there a program or command with which I can see the IP number used by his Mac address at any particular time?That way I can see which IP number he's using when he hits the Internet and block it immediately so he can't get to my site.Thanks in advance,Cliff. infected files infected files AVP found the Ethan Macro Virus in 2 files. (Mcafee & Inoculate says the files are fine) The files are C:/windows/application data/identies/{etc.....I can't seem to clean them so can I just delete them or are they critical files to my system? For the love of god please help For the love of god please help I have some piece of shit advertising thing in my puter in the form of an exe, it called it's self win32sys.exe and is in my c drive (Like I wouldn't notice it, who ever made this was an idiot...all my icons are aranged by date so I know when something has been added.). When I goto delete it, it says that windows is using it and that I can't. I checked my win.ini system.ini and shell command line and it isn't there. How else can it be run on start up. Are you sure its a load of crap because I have opened it up on my computer and everytime I try to post on the C/A it comes up 'you are banned', which in the past hasn't been a problem by changing ISP's or using proxy's. Neither of these work now, also they have instigated a system where you cannot post without cookies. Each time I'm banned I delete the cookies and start again but to no avail. I know its not the ISP or Proxies I am using because others are posting successfully with the same IP. I have also tried diasbleilng java script but no joy. I know this sounds wierd but it is the case. Also I have another computer which I did not open the Email on, this I can still post with so they must have planted a cookie or a script within the failing computer.
