I remember I found it somedays, but dunno where... thx.daTecK MicrosuX.org boot partition too big boot partition too big I have a 10GB hard drive partitioned into 8GB for win95 and 2GB for Red Hat, except that i can't put linux on those 2GB. every time i try to create a / partition it gives me a message "boot partition too big" (I tried seeting / enywhere in between 30MB and 80MB). I don't have a clue why is this happening so i would appreciate if one of you guys could give me a hint. I did find a way to locate which COM-port is used at runtime by the way. Basically it comes down to some nasty extensive code that opens all the 4 com ports, sends data, and checks if it gets a reponse from the modem. (meaning, i usually don't hack untill i know anything, and i do mean ANYTHING from the system i'm trying to get into)... nowadays i'm busier with my career (which, fortunatly, does include computers), at the same time learning shitloads of stuff that can be used for stuff they were never intented to.But, suppose all of a sudden MS decides i'm a threat.
