I keep getting this error message in tetro. WSAASyncSelect{} failed. View Error information?when I click on yes I get winsock error{0}any help would be greatly appreciated.

A guy told me that if you send someone a link that points to a share on your hard drive, that the person that clicks on the link sends his username and pwl. You can then steal this name and pwl using Lophtcrack's SMB packet capture tool. Is there any truth to this? How would you create a link like that?

i know this may be the most stupid question ever to cross this web board, but how do you make it where someone can download a file off of your page, say from site you uploaded them to.

a got a free dial up Isp for anonymity. when I am configuring the dial up feature ie 555-1212. I am trying to put *67,555-1212 to block my phone number but I just get a busy signal. any ideas???? I know the line isn't busy because when I remove *67 it connects without a problem.

Maybe im stupid but i got your hotmail prog from somwhere and you need a dictionary file.well where is the dictionary file...
where can i get it do i get it from hotmailcan you email me a quick how to use the prog message as it just looks like a prog that searches a file to me?Hmmm.

This is what i get from the scanner:Scanned for :guestbook.cgi found.
Scanned for :_vti_inf.html found.
Scanned for :users.pwd found.
Scanned for :authors.pwd found.
Scanned for :administrators found.
Scanned for :shtml.exe found.no services.pwd found, i dont see any of these too critical?
I cant find where the .pwd files are either using the BlackWidow when I scan the site.
Is there a security risk for the server that I just scanned? If so, what could be the possible fixes and ways someone can possibly exploit, Also how dangerous are these holes?
