Just change your settings in the IE connections tab of Internet Options. Select the check box that says use PROXY, enter the IP addy of the proxy, and the port of the proxy 80, 8080, 3128,81, etc. Don't use them if you don't need to, they slow you down, they really aren't needed for general browsing, though some people like to use them for this. Plus if you use a really good one, you really don't want others to see it, as they will start using it, distributing it, etc. And before you know it it's either slow as all hell, or shut down. If you have (2) machines, think about setting up your own proxy this can be useful under certain circumstances. deej could help I am sure.
