Info on some books
I got some free books today, I know they're outdated some, but do you still recommend them for general knowledge. They are as follows:VB 4.0 Developing Professional Java Applets Discover Java and Java Script 1.1 2nd ed.Any input is appreciated.Peace, BROM+ |

Well none of thouse languages really have changed...there good for starting but I wouldn't use them for any thing but a start-point. |

Yeah they ar ok.. the VB 4.0 is actually still used in universitys. they use the 5.0 or higher Version of VB but theyt use the 4.0 book to teach it with.. dont ask im not the director of education.. ive got the vb book here along with my 6.0 and a lot of the time i refrence the 4.0 book more than my 6.0so its all personal prefrence.. you wont learn the new features in the older books but the language really hasnt changed.. only a few shortcuts have been made. so learn on man. if you wanna learn more on C++ check out my link below to the c++ final kid.. itsa the same course i took in my university.. only free online now >:) |

Yeah, I briefly checked it out, I am seriously interested in learning C and C++ in the future (near). But I am in class right now and just don't have the extra time to devote until it's over ya know?
