Still clicking like a madman, or... ?
...did you find a new toy to post messages to a wwwboard for you ?
Or *gasp* did you actually code one now ?Anyway, to answer your question, linking 2 (or more) computers together is usually called 'clustering' and it CAN improve the speed of your apps if they are cluster-aware - or if you can split the processing between the two somehow.
Look at distributed.net for example : there is no clustering there, but by splitting the key blocks to be checked by each system, you can have hundreds of thousands of systems working in parallel. It's not -AFAIK- something you can do out of the box with any system and any application. As for the connection speed of your modem, there are some initialisation strings that may help improve the speed - check the manual of your modem. But the main cause of slow connections is usually due to lossy lines & switches at the moment you connect.
Or maybe your ISP(s) work with V.90 and your modem still uses an 'old' 56k chipset. One last remark - you're much more likely to earn some respect by creating something, rather than by trashing something.
And of course, the further you slide down, the more difficult it will be for people to start respecting you afterwards...

Yep, or at least on Nick's version of it :)
Not sure if it would have worked on the original fong dev code though - that's why I wanted you to try it out there.I'm talking about your first attack now - I missed most of it, but you seem to have managed to post x messages per minute then. What you were doing earlier today - having 2 connections and 2 browsers sending a message every x minutes - is a different matter. That's "allowed" by the script :)
